Summary:
The Asphalt Crew Leader plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating asphalt paving operations within the engineering sector. This part time position is essential for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will lead a team of workers, manage resources, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, contributing to the overall success of our projects in Australia.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the asphalt crew in daily operations and tasks.
Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute asphalt paving projects.
Monitor the quality of work and materials used, ensuring compliance with specifications.
Train and mentor crew members on best practices and safety procedures.
Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Report on project progress and any issues to management.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Proven experience in asphalt paving or a similar role.
