Casual Medical Receptionist – Glenmore Park

We are seeking an experienced Casual Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and busy medical practice in Glenmore Park. Reliable & team player are a must.

Medical reception experience is essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Welcoming and assisting patients both in person and over the phone.
Managing a high volume of incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner.
Scheduling appointments and providing general information to patients.
Processing Medicare and private billing, including a sound understanding of Medicare claiming procedures.
Managing private billing for allied health services.
Performing general administrative and reception duties.
Maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service at all times.

The successful applicant will have:
Previous experience working in a medical reception role (essential).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems.




The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
A high level of organisation and attention to detail.
Knowledge of general practice software (Best Practice experience is highly regarded but not essential).
A good understanding of Medicare billing.
A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.

Availability:
Afternoon shifts are essential.
Weekend availability is required.

Pay: Up to $36.39 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 11.0 per week
