Right at Home, Sydney Ryde are seeking qualified, reliable and passionate Personal Care Workers to join our team in the Sydney Ryde Region spanning across from Ryde to Gordon and Eastwood to Lane Cove.

Responsibilities will include:

· Working within a person-centered, enabling workplace that respects the rights and needs of each client;

· Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties;

· Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support;

· Providing support with social and recreational activities;

· Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medications;

· Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client;

· Responding to emergency situations; and

· Working weekend and overnight shifts as rostered

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

· Certificate III-IV in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability) or currently studying/enrolled Certificate III-IV in Individual Support





· Current National Police Check & Working With Children Check

· Current First Aid & CPR certificates

· Experience working with aged and/or person with a disability

· Current unrestricted driver’s licence and your own well- maintained car

· Comprehensive car insurance

. Covid-19 vaccination certificate

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Smart mobile phone

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $45.29 – $99.63 per hour
