About the role

Surf Coast Gardens is looking for an experienced and reliable landscaper or garden maintenance worker to join our small team full-time. We work across Torquay, Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, Lorne and surrounding areas on a mix of landscape construction projects and ongoing garden maintenance. This role would suit someone who enjoys varied outdoor work, is confident using tools and machinery, and takes pride in completing a job properly. You should be comfortable working as part of a small team and getting on with an allocated task without needing constant supervision.

Key responsibilities
Landscape construction
Planting and garden establishment
Paving and hard landscaping
Steel edging
Soil preparation and mulching
Lawn preparation
Garden maintenance
Irrigation installation and maintenance
Pruning and general garden care
Operating landscape machinery

About you
Previous landscaping, construction or professional garden maintenance experience is required
Current manual Australian driver's licence




Experience towing and reversing trailers
Confidence with power tools and landscaping equipment
Experience operating landscape machinery
Valuable practical and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently after clear direction
Reliable and punctual work habits
Positive attention to detail
Explicit and respectful communication

Benefits
$32–$35 per hour + super, depending on experience and ability
