Our menu features house-made pasta, premium steaks, fresh seafood and seasonal Italian-inspired dishes. It is complemented by a carefully selected wine list featuring more than 250 Australian and international labels.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Waiter/Sommelier to join our front of house team.
The successful candidate will provide professional food and beverage service while using their wine knowledge to help guests select wines that complement their meals.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests and show them to their tables
Present menus and explain dishes, specials and beverage options
Take food and beverage orders accurately
Serve meals and drinks professionally and efficiently
Provide detailed advice about wines and food pairings
Recommend Australian and international wines based on guests' preferences
Present, open and serve wine using appropriate skilled techniques




Maintain a strong understanding of the restaurant's menu and wine list
Monitor wine quality, storage conditions and cellar organisation
Assist with wine stock control, supplier orders and cellar records
Assist with reviewing and updating the restaurant's wine list
Train other front of house staff in wine knowledge and service
Set and clear tables before, during and after service
Process customer accounts and payments
Respond professionally to guest questions, requests and concerns
Work closely with the kitchen, bar and management teams
Follow responsible service of alcohol, food safety and workplace safety requirements

About You
Hospitality or wine qualification, or equivalent industry experience
Previous experience as a Waiter, Sommelier or in a similar food and beverage service role
Solid knowledge of Australian and international wines
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
