This is a fully remote, adaptable contract role built for mathematicians who want to do meaningful, intellectually engaging work on their own schedule.

What You'll Do
Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and complexity
Apply your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas to design challenging, well-structured problem statements
Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, rigor, and depth
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen AI model capabilities
Ensure mathematical clarity, precision, and depth across all deliverables
Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are




Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
Deep expertise in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
Proficient in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or technical problem-solving
Exceptionally detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to mathematical work
Robust written communicator — you can explain complex ideas with clarity and precision
Fluent in English

Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI training workflows
Background in academic research, technical writing, or curriculum development
Experience designing or grading advanced mathematical assessments
Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation
