Key Responsibilities
Own the overall solution architecture across Appian/OutSystems platforms, integrations, and data flows.
Translate business requirements and epics into logical and physical solution architectures aligned to program scope and enterprise standards.
Define integration patterns with core systems, underwriting engines, pricing services, and downstream applications using event‑driven frameworks.
Ensure all non-functional requirements—performance, scalability, resilience, availability, security, and regulatory compliance—are fully addressed.
Provide architectural oversight to development teams; review solution designs, estimates, and implementation approaches.
Collaborate closely with enterprise architecture, platform owners, program management, domain consulting, and IT teams to align with target‑state architecture.
Support architectural discussions during RFP processes, solution walkthroughs, and senior‑level reviews.
Proactively identify architectural risks,



technical constraints, and design gaps; drive mitigation strategies early in the delivery lifecycle.
Document the High‑Level Design (HLD) and Low‑Level Design (LLD), ensuring they meet enterprise standards and support the intended end‑state solution.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, preferably within Life Insurance or BFSI settings.
Solid hands‑on expertise in Appian and/or OutSystems platforms.
Solid experience with API‑led architectures, microservices, and systems integration patterns.
Positive understanding of insurance domain concepts—underwriting, pricing, product configuration, policy administration, and related workflows.
Excellent ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
