Role Description This contract Mortgage Broker role is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility to work partly from home.

The Mortgage

Broker will consult with clients to assess their financial situation, explain lending options, and recommend suitable mortgage and debt solutions aligned with ethical lending standards. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and analyzing client documentation, preparing loan applications, liaising with lenders, and tracking applications through to settlement. The role also involves providing ongoing client support, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to mortgage marketing activities to build and sustain a client base. Collaboration with internal teams,



adherence to regulatory requirements, and consistent delivery of explicit, unbiased advice are central to the position.

Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in mortgage broking or related Mortgage Brokers and Brokerage activities, with a focus on ethical lending.
Strong knowledge of Finance principles, lending products, and regulatory requirements in the Australian mortgage market.
Experience with Debt Consolidation strategies and the ability to structure solutions that improve client financial stability.
Skills in Mortgage Marketing, including client prospecting, relationship-building, and maintaining a skilled presence across relevant channels.
Relevant accreditation such as Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or equivalent), with membership in an industry association preferred.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex information in accessible terms.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to non-discriminatory, client-centered service.
Comfort working in a hybrid workplace, managing time effectively between office-based and remote work.
