Solara Digital is seeking an experienced Microservices & AI Technical Lead Architect to support a significant enterprise business application transformation program.

This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for shaping the architecture and engineering approach for cloud-native, microservices, event-driven and AI-enabled platforms. You will influence solution design and engineering decisions, establish up-to-date delivery practices, and help embed AI across the software delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and architectural authority across cloud-native, microservices and event-driven solutions.
Guide the design and evolution of secure, scalable and resilient enterprise platforms.
Drive the adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices across the SDLC, including the practical use of AI within software development, testing and delivery.
Establish and uplift DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability and platform engineering practices.
Lead technology modernisation initiatives including microservices enhancement, containerisation, enterprise integration and reusable architecture patterns.
Provide technical direction to multidisciplinary engineering and delivery teams.




Establish appropriate engineering governance, standards and patterns.
Support knowledge transfer and capability uplift to ensure sustainable internal technical capability.

About YouYou will have extensive experience designing and delivering complex enterprise technology platforms, with robust hands-on knowledge across up-to-date software engineering, cloud and AI.

Ideally, you will bring experience across:
Cloud-native, microservices and event-driven architecture
Enterprise AI engineering, machine learning, semantic search and responsible AI
Modern software and platform engineering
DevSecOps, CI/CD and security-by-design
Kubernetes and container platforms such as OpenShift, AKS, EKS or GKE
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), observability and enterprise automation
Enterprise application and platform modernisation
Agile delivery and multidisciplinary technical team leadership

You will also need excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior executives, architects, engineers, delivery teams and partners and translate complex business requirements into practical technology outcomes.
