On behalf of a highly confidential Sydney Single Family Office, we are seeking a senior Investment Director / Principal to lead direct private market transactions and strategic allocations.
Operating with high autonomy alongside executive leadership, you will own the full investment lifecycle—from deal origination and due diligence to execution and active portfolio value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Execution & Flow: Source, screen, model, and execute direct PE/VC deals, growth equity, and co-investments.
Portfolio Leadership: Oversee portfolio performance, partner with leadership teams, and take board seats.
Strategic Allocation: Provide macroeconomic and sector intelligence to shape overall asset allocation.
Stakeholder Management:
Build trusted relationships with co-investors, portfolio executives, and family principals.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 6 –10 years in Private Equity, Venture Capital, M&A;, Corporate Development, or a Family Office.
Track Record: Proven history of leading end-to-end direct transactions and buyouts.
Core Skills: Exceptional financial modeling, commercial due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance required; CFA or MBA strongly preferred.
Attributes: High-integrity, self-directed operator with refined diplomatic communication and discretion.
