Are you an experienced policy professional with a background in law or economics and an interest in shaping Victoria's future?

We're seeking a Senior Project Officer – Water and Mining to join a multidisciplinary team delivering policy that helps ensure Victoria's water resources continue to meet the needs of current and future generations.

In this role, you will contribute to Victoria's clean energy transition by providing water policy advice to support the orderly rehabilitation and closure of Latrobe Valley coal mines. You will work at the intersection of water, mining, setting and economic policy, helping to navigate complex issues with significant implications for communities, industry and the workplace.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Tertiary degree in law or economics.
Demonstrated experience in mine rehabilitation and/or water sector experience is highly desirable

This is a fixed term position available for 13 months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
