Role Description The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end delivery of fitout projects in Perth, WA, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This full-time, on-site role involves planning project timelines, coordinating trades and contractors, managing resources, and monitoring progress against milestones.
The Project
Manager will liaise with clients, designers, and internal teams to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and resolve issues quickly. Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, tracking costs, preparing reports, managing risks, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met on site.
The role also requires driving continuous improvement in project processes and contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management for construction or fitout projects.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and suppliers, with strong stakeholder and client management abilities.
Proficiency in project management and construction tools (e.g., MS Project or similar, construction management software, basic MS Office skills).
Knowledge of fitout, building processes, and relevant regulations, standards, and safety practices in the Australian construction workplace.
Solid communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under time and budget constraints.
Proven ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adapt to changing priorities.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in retail, hospitality, commercial, or healthcare fitouts is highly regarded.
