Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Graduate Civil Engineer role based in the Inner West of Sydney. This is a hands-on role covering the full technical and administrative delivery of the project, from planning and safety documentation, through to quality assurance, cost control, and procurement on site. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be a key point of contact for coordinating day-to-day site activities and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on program, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Secure Work Method Statements (SWMS).




Complete Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for quality assurance.
Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).
Attend meetings and liaise with the client.
Conduct regular site walks and inspections.
Maintain daily site diaries.
Track project costs against budget.
Manage procurement of materials abd subcontractors.
Produce and update 2 week look-aheads weekly.

About You
Degree or diploma qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent trade/technical background).
Experience on industrial, civil, or plant construction projects - concrete batch plant experience highly regarded.
Strong understanding of SWMS, ITPs, and QA processes.
Confident managing RFIs and liaising with design teams.
Sound cost tracking and procurement experience.
Robust communication skills and ability to work autonomously on site.
