Your Role

As a Software Engineer (Generalist) at swipejobs, you'll have the prospect to work across frontend, backend, or DevOps, depending on your strengths and interests. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions that power our intelligent staffing platform.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain high-quality applications (frontend, backend, or infrastructure)
Write clean, efficient, and testable code using contemporary frameworks and best practices
Participate in system architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews
Support the full software development lifecycle - from concept to release and monitoring
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to solve real user problems
Contribute to platform stability, performance,



and scalability initiatives
Stay curious and engaged with the latest tools and technologies in your domain

What We're Looking For
Experience in software development across one or more areas: Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Node.js DevOps: AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes
Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices
Understanding of modern development principles (clean code, testing, CI/CD, Agile)
Problem-solver mindset and passion for building reliable, user-focused solutions
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
