Role Description This is a part-time Pharmacy Assistant role based in Prahran, VIC, The Pharmacy Assistant supports day-to-day dispensary operations, The role involves greeting patients, answering queries in person and over the phone, and ensuring a qualified and supportive customer experience.

Responsibilities also include managing stock levels, receiving and organizing inventory, checking expiry dates, and keeping the pharmacy environment clean, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Assistant collaborates with pharmacists and other team members to ensure effective workflows and reliable service.





Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills, including empathy, clear communication, and a patient-focused approach in a healthcare setting.
Strong sales experience for over the counter products
Qualified phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for handling patient inquiries, appointment coordination, and collaboration with healthcare providers.
Inventory management skills, including stock control, ordering, receiving, and monitoring product shelf life.
Attention to detail and reliability in following procedures, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, within a hybrid work environment.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy or healthcare software systems.
Previous experience in a pharmacy, dispensary, or healthcare support role is preferred.
Relevant pharmacy assistant certification or training is an advantage.
