OurK&B; Mt. Gambier Total Tools store is seeking an outgoing individual to join the team as a casual Retail Sales Assistant.

This position will suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with robust customer service mindset, and positive product knowledge to provide the best experience to our customers. You will also ensure the store displays are well maintained and all products are priced correctly and labelled.

What you will be doing;
Welcome and assist customers in store, provide advice and information on products
Handle customer queries, in person and over the phone, and offer solutions
Processing sales through our POS system
Create and dispatch customer special orders and item delivery
Put up signage, price tickets and promotional material
Perform all tasks according to the OH&S; guidelines and keeping the areas clean and tidy
Report any suspected theft or suspicious behaviour, or notify Store Manager of any potential hazards

You’ll likely be a match if you have:
Basic to Intermediate MS Office skills
Solid work ethic, reliable and punctual
Forklift licence an advantage




Customer-focused and a "can do" attitude
Ability to work across a 7-day trading day roster
Previous retail or sales experience, trade qualification is an advantage
Experience in cash handling
