Role Description This part-time Fresher Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level) role at AMC Group is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Data

Analyst will support project teams by collecting, cleaning, and organizing data related to structural projects, inspections, and quality assurance activities. Day-to-day tasks include performing basic data analysis, preparing reports and dashboards, and assisting in the development of data models to support decision-making. The role also involves collaborating with engineering and management teams to interpret findings, document insights, and help improve operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be expected to learn quickly, follow established standards, and contribute to a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Robust analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative information and identify trends.




Foundational knowledge of data analytics and data modeling to support project and operational decisions.
Basic understanding of statistics to perform easy analyses and validate data quality.
Effective communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; exposure to SQL or BI tools is an advantage).
Relevant academic background in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (recent graduates or final-year students encouraged to apply).
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a hybrid setting with accountability for tasks and deadlines.
