Role Description As an Entry / Junior Business Analyst at apptotech, you will support the analysis of business processes and requirements to help design effective technology solutions. In this part time hybrid role based in Melbourne, VIC, you will work both on-site with client and internal teams and remotely from home as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping current and future business processes, and assisting in the preparation of functional specifications and reports.

You will collaborate with senior analysts, project managers, and technical teams to clarify needs, identify gaps, and contribute to recommendations that improve efficiency and user experience. The role also involves preparing presentations, participating in workshops and stakeholder meetings, and helping ensure that solutions align with business objectives and quality standards.

Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
Foundational Business Analysis skills,



including requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
Effective Communication skills to engage with stakeholders, clarify requirements, and present findings in a transparent and concise manner.
Understanding of Business Process concepts and Business Requirements definition to support the design of practical, user-focused solutions.
Relevant tertiary education or progress toward a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Proficiency with productivity and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, collaboration platforms; familiarity with modeling tools is an advantage).
Ability to work collaboratively in hybrid teams, manage time across part time commitments, and adapt to changing priorities.
Interest in IT services, consulting, and digital transformation; prior internship or project experience in a similar context is desirable but not required.
