Followmont Transport is seeking an experienced Senior Fleet Controller to coordinate fleet movements, manage driver activities and support the day-to-day operation of our Townsville depot.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a fast-paced workplace and can confidently coordinate a large volume of freight and driver movements.

What You'll Be Doing
Coordinating daily fleet movements and driver activities
Managing delivery schedules and route planning
Acting as the key point of contact for drivers throughout the day
Monitoring service performance and resolving operational issues
Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and safety requirements
Tracking operational performance and reporting metrics
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery

What You'll Need
Previous Fleet Controller, Dispatch or Transport Operations experience




Robust understanding of transport and logistics operations
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel and reporting capability
Understanding of dangerous goods and transport compliance requirements
Solid knowledge of Townsville and surrounding regions
