Data Agility is looking for an experienced Azure Databricks Developer to work on an enterprise data platform project. This is a short-term contract expected to run for approximately two to three months.

This hands-on role would suit a Data Engineer or ETL Developer with proven experience developing enterprise data solutions using Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks.

Key responsibilities
Develop data-processing solutions using Azure Databricks
Build data ingestion, transformation and integration processes
Develop data models and data flows
Analyse existing data platforms and contribute to the target-state solution
Support data security, governance, access and lineage requirements
Integrate data with downstream reporting and analytics solutions
Document technical requirements, data mappings and integration specifications
Work directly with technical and business stakeholders





Required experience
Solid hands-on Azure Databricks development experience
Experience developing enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Azure
Robust data ingestion, integration, transformation and modelling experience
Understanding of Azure data, integration, storage and security services
Experience with data governance, metadata, lineage and access management
Solid stakeholder communication and technical documentation skills

Experience integrating Databricks with Power BI and working on complex enterprise data platforms will be highly regarded.

This is a hybrid, client-facing role, with an expectation to be in office with the client 2–3 days per week.
