VD Properties is a growing Western Australian real estate agency providing residential property management and sales services. Based in Malaga, WA, we are focused on delivering professional, personalised service and building long-term relationships with our clients.
Role Description
We’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, supporting the day-to-day management of our residential property portfolio.
The role is based at our Malaga office, working 20 hours per week across Monday to Friday, with travel to properties as required.
Key responsibilities include
Conducting routine property inspections
Completing Property Condition Reports (PCRs)
Conducting home opens and property viewings
Reviewing and processing tenancy applications
Undertaking tenant screening and reference checks
Liaising professionally with property owners and tenants
Monitoring and responding to property management emails and enquiries
Coordinating maintenance requests and follow-ups
Assisting with lease and tenancy documentation
Coordinating property key handovers and collections
Maintaining accurate property and tenancy records in PropertyMe
Providing day-to-day operational support across the Property Management portfolio
Qualifications and Requirements
Current WA Real Estate Registration – essential
Current WA driver's licence – essential
Previous experience in residential real estate or property management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid organisational and time-management skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently while supporting the broader Property Management team
Experience with PropertyMe will be highly regarded
