Note: This role requires travelling across Melbourne, VIC. - Transportation or allowance will be provided.
Prepare and maintain development feasibility studies, financial models, project cash flow forecasts, and support project performance and cash flow monitoring.
Assist in the evaluation of development opportunities, including site analysis, market research and preliminary due diligence.
Coordinate and manage consultants, authorities and service providers across the planning, design and development stages.
Monitor project programmes, approvals, budgets and key milestones to ensure developments progress in accordance with agreed timelines.
Conduct regular site visits across projects to assess construction progress, site conditions and compliance with approved plans.
Review contractor claims and project milestones, and provide recommendations on payment assessments based on work completed on site.
Prepare fortnightly project reports and management updates covering topics such as project progress, sales and leasing activity, construction status, programme tracking, risks and key actions.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with consultants, contractors, local authorities, agents and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Skills and Requirements
3 – 5 years' experience in property development, development management, real estate, project management or a related field.
Degree in Property, Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Finance or a related discipline is advantageous.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including feasibility modelling and cash flow forecasting.
Understanding of the property development and construction lifecycle.
Solid analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Current Australian Driver's Licence and/or willingness to travel between project sites across Melbourne.
