Chef - Part-Time
$33.76 Per Hour + 12% Super + Penalty Rates
Shift: across Monday to Sunday from 5.00am-11.30am
Location: Haymarket, Sydney

THE POSITION
Assisting and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of the breakfast buffet offer within the hotel, is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials
Breakfast service times 6.30am-10.00am
Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
Championing the significance of allergy awareness and ensuring controls are adhered to
Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control
Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided





THE PERSON
Chef's Trade Qualifications
Experience within a high volume and fast paced setting
Buffet experience within a hotel is desirable
A comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations and exciting latest food trends
Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate to juniors & senior members of staff
An applied knowledge and passion for understanding OHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations
