Oh Boy, Bok Choy! is a vibrant Southeast Asian restaurant known for its fresh, flavour-packed dishes and modern dining experience. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our professional kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Assist with menu planning and the development of seasonal dishes.
Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation.
Maintain consistent food preparation and service standards.
Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies.
Monitor food costs and minimise wastage.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.
Train and support junior kitchen staff.
Work closely with the Head Chef and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
Assist with catering for functions, group bookings and banquet services.

Skills and Experience




Relevant commercial cookery qualification or equivalent industry experience.
Experience preparing Southeast Asian or modern Asian cuisine will be highly regarded.
Solid knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
A genuine passion for producing fresh, high-quality food.
