An excellent opportunity has arisen for aFund Accountantto join a growing investment management firm based inSydney CBD.
This organisation offers a agile and collaborative environment, with a strong track record in delivering innovative investment solutions across a diverse asset base including real estate, private equity, and infrastructure.
The Role
Reporting to the Fund Accounting Manager the Fund Accountant will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting of several managed investment schemes.
This is a broad role suited to a detail-oriented finance professional with strong technical skills and a genuine interest in the investment space.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly and quarterly fund reporting, including NAV calculations
Reconcile investor transactions, distributions, and unit pricing
Maintain general ledgers for multiple fund structures
Assist with year-end financial statements and audit processes
Work closely with external administrators, custodians, and fund managers
Support compliance and regulatory reporting obligations (ASIC, AFSL)
Participate in process improvement and system enhancement projects
What We're Looking For
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Fully qualified CA/CPA
2–4 years' experience in fund accounting or financial services
Exposure to property, private equity, or infrastructure funds a plus
Strong Excel skills; experience with fund accounting systems advantageous
Analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
