Job Description: Senior Developer – Java / AWS / Microservices
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Developerwith strong expertise inJava, Microservices Architecture, API Development, and AWS Cloud Technologies.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and cloud-native applications.
Experience with TM Forum Open APIs, contemporary Java frameworks, and DevOps practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices usingJava 21.
Develop and enhance APIs in alignment withTM Forum Open API standards.
Build, deploy, and support cloud-native applications onAWS.
Design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing backend solutions.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.
Implement API security, authentication, authorization, and performance optimization best practices.
Develop containerized applications usingDockerand deploy them in cloud environments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines usingGitHub Actions.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational excellence usingSplunkand other monitoring tools.
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring junior developers.
Ensure adherence to coding standards,



security guidelines, and software development best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience inJava 21development.
Extensive experience withSpring Bootand/orMicronautframeworks.
Solid understanding ofMicroservices Architectureand distributed systems.
Proven experience in developingREST APIsand integrating withTM Forum Open APIs.
Strong expertise inAWS Cloud Services, including:
ECS Fargate
Lambda
API Gateway
S3
CloudFront
DynamoDB
Experience withAPIGEEAPI Management.
Hands-on experience withDockercontainerization.
Strong understanding ofCI/CD pipelinesusing GitHub Actions.
Experience with application monitoring and log analysis usingSplunk.
Knowledge of software design patterns, secure coding practices, and performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Telecommunications, Digital Platforms, or Enterprise API Ecosystems.
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, and API Security standards.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
AWS Certifications are highly desirable.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
Experience Required
8+ yearsof software development experience.
5+ yearsof hands-on experience in Java-based Microservices and Cloud-native application development.
