The Role
Camberwell Girls Grammar School is seeking an exceptional educational leader to shape the future of inclusive education in our Junior School.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a highly regarded Learning Diversity team within a school committed to educational excellence, innovation and learning designed for all.
Working closely with the Head of Junior School and key leaders across the School, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring every student can access, participate in and thrive in learning.
Reporting to the Head of Junior School, you will lead the Junior School Learning Diversity Department, overseeing a contemporary approach to inclusive education focused on early identification, intervention and teacher capability-building.
A teaching allocation is included, ensuring the successful candidate remains strongly connected to classroom practice, student learning and the everyday work of teachers.
You Will Make An Impact By
Leading and developing the Junior School Learning Diversity team.
Driving the implementation of the School's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks.
Partnering with teachers and families to support student growth and progress.
Leading Individual Learning Plans, learning adjustments and NCCD processes.
Building staff capability through coaching, collaboration and professional learning.
Contributing to strategic planning and student transition processes within the Junior School.

You combine strong educational expertise with a collaborative and practical approach, building trusted relationships with students, families and colleagues.
An excellent communicator and relationship-builder, you are skilled at leading, inspiring and developing others.
Above all, you are committed to creating learning environments where every student can thrive.
You Will Have
Tertiary teaching qualification and VIT Registration
Qualifications and experience in Learning Diversity, Inclusive Education, Learning Intervention or a related field.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing targeted interventions informed by student data.
Strong knowledge of learning adjustments and NCCD requirements.
