Cleanaway is looking for the next generation of Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Wingfield.
Whether you're a school leaver, career changer, returning to the workforce, or simply looking for a practical career path, this is your opportunity to earn while you learn and build skills that are in demand across Australia.
We're particularly keen to hear from women, First Nations peoples and others who may not have previously considered a trade career.
You don't need industry experience to get started.
We're looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and an interest in how things work.
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Apprentice you'll work alongside experienced tradespeople, receive structured training and mentoring and gain a nationally recognised qualification while being paid to learn.
This is more than an apprenticeship.

Service and maintain heavy vehicles and machinery
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

You don't need previous trade experience or qualifications to apply.
You May Have Gained Relevant Skills Through
School subjects such as Design & Technology, Engineering, Automotive or Metalwork
Working on cars, motorbikes, bicycles or machinery
Hands‐on hobbies and projects
Sporting, volunteer or community activities that demonstrate teamwork and commitment
Previous work experience in any industry
