As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking an experiencedSenior Contracts Administratorto join our team and play a key role in the commercial and contractual management of our projects.

About the Role
Reporting to theConstruction Manager and General Manager, the Senior Contracts Administrator will work closely with Project Managers, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, clients and other key stakeholders to achieve strong commercial, contractual and project outcomes.
You will take a senior role in contract administration, procurement, cost and risk management, while supporting project delivery from pre-construction through construction, Practical Completion and post-construction.
This role offers a broad level of responsibility and is ideally suited to an experienced Senior CA who is commercially focused, solutions-driven and confident working across both the contractual and operational aspects of construction.
Key Responsibilities
Review and administerHead Contracts, subcontracts, scopes of workand associated contractual documentation.
Manage subcontractor procurement, including tender packages, tender analysis, negotiations, recommendations and contract awards.
Prepare and administer subcontract agreements and ensure contractual obligations are clearly understood and managed.
Manage subcontractorprogress claims, payment schedules and contractual compliance.
Prepare, assess and managevariations, EOTs, contractual notices and claims.
Monitor project costs, commitments and commercial risks,



and contribute tocost reporting and forecasting.
Identify contractual and commercial risks early and work closely with project management to minimise CJCA's exposure.
Provide commercial and contractual advice and support to Project Managers, Construction Managers and site teams throughout project delivery.
Liaise professionally withclients, Superintendents, consultants, subcontractors and other key project stakeholders.
Review scopes of work to ensure completeness, minimise scope gaps and support effective procurement.
Participate in design coordination and buildability reviews where commercial or contractual input is required.
Support project compliance with theNCC, relevant Australian Standards and statutory requirements.
Assist with project approvals and critical certification stages, includingCC and OC.
Maintain high standards of project correspondence, records and document control usingProcore.
Contribute to CJCA'sIntegrated Management System (IMS)and ongoing quality, environmental and WHS management processes.
Assist with authority approvals, inspections, audits and regulatory matters, including liaison with relevant authorities where required.
Support project handover,Practical Completion, final accounts, defect management and post-construction matters.
Provide practical solutions to contractual, commercial, design and compliance matters that may impact project delivery.
Provide guidance and mentoring to Junior Contracts Administrators and support the development of the wider commercial team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
ABachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience within the Australian construction industry,



with demonstrated experience in contract administration and commercial management.
Proven experience as aSenior Contracts Administrator, or in a comparable senior commercial/contracts role.
Previous experience working for aHead Contractorwill be highly regarded.
Solid knowledge of Head Contracts, subcontracts, procurement and contract administration.
Demonstrated experience managingvariations, EOTs, progress claims, payment schedules, contractual notices and claims.
Strong commercial awareness with proven experience incost management, forecasting and commercial risk management.
Sound knowledge of theNCC, Australian Standards and relevant construction legislation and compliance requirements.
Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
Confidence working with clients, Superintendents, consultants, subcontractors, Project Managers and site teams.
Experience withProcore or similar construction management platformswill be highly regarded.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior Contracts Administrators.
The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

What We Offer
Competitive salary package of $160,000–$190,000 + Super, depending on experience and capability.
