Partnering with a leading healthcare provider in Australia, we are seeking experienced Registrars specialised in Emergency Medicine who are interested in an exciting international chance.
Role Overview
You'll work within well-supported Australian Emergency Departments.
Depending on location, opportunities include:
Private Emergency Departments
Metro Emergency Medicine roles
Coastal ED positions
Lifestyle-focused regional hospitals
Mixed adult Emergency Medicine settings
Many departments are highly experienced in supporting UK & Irish-trained Doctors relocating to Australia for the first time.
Requirements
Be comfortable working autonomous night shifts, with specialist support available on-call
Be able to commit to a minimum 12-month contract
Be immediately eligible for registration in Australia via the Competent Authority Pathway by:




Holding full GMC or IMC registration with a licence to practise
Be working at Registrar level (typically ST3+ equivalent) in Emergency Medicine for at least 12 months
If you qualified outside the UK or Ireland, you must have obtained GMC registration via PLAB and completed a minimum of 3 years' UK NHS experience at Registrar level
Please note: Doctors who obtained GMC registration solely through a postgraduate qualification route (e.g. MRCEM, MRCP or MRCS) without completing PLAB are unlikely to be eligible for these positions.

Working only 10 shifts per month:
A$204,000+ per annum (approximately £102,000+)
Additional shifts are available for Doctors wanting to increase earnings further
