Good people.
Good work.
Great opportunities.
McCullough Robertson is a commercially focused firm with a proud 100 year history, working with high-calibre national and international clients.
We work on big matters in small teams, approaching each day with dedication and professionalism.
We provide exceptional opportunities for our employees to perform, grow and succeed through extensive training and career development.
Our teams work together and support one another to achieve individual, team and firm-wide goals.
Backed by a national team of over 400 staff located in Brisbane and Sydney, McCullough Robertson combines a century of experience with a modern, collaborative approach, making us a big firm, without the attitude.
The Role
As we build on the momentum of our centenary year and continue to deliver on the firm's strategic priorities, we are looking for a Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to join our Sydney office.
You will become part of our Business Development & Marketing team, working closely with colleagues across Sydney and Brisbane in a collaborative, high-performing environment where initiative and fresh ideas are encouraged.
Whether you are a Business Development & Marketing Administrator ready to take the next step in your career or an experienced Coordinator looking to broaden your skills, this is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across business development, marketing, client engagement and events within a leading Australian law firm.
You will have the prospect to learn from experienced Business Development & Marketing professionals, build your skills and, as your capability grows, take on increasing responsibility.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, curious and eager to learn.
You will thrive in this role if you enjoy variety, take pride in your work, love building relationships, have a keen eye for detail and are looking for the opportunity to take ownership of your work.
No two days are the same, making this the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to make a genuine impact.
You will work closely with our Business Development & Marketing Leads to bring practice, industry and client growth initiatives to life, while building valuable skills and experience in a firm that is committed to continuous improvement,

professional development and helping its people succeed.
We are looking for someone who wants to be a genuine contributor to the team and who is keen to grow professionally and progress their career with us.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Supporting the delivery of high-quality panel and project/matter-specific tenders and credential statements (often working directly with senior lawyers and partners in their respective practice or industry groups);
End-to-end support and coordination of firm, practice and client events, ensuring a seamless experience and a high standard of delivery;
Preparing email marketing campaigns and social media posts, including developing copy in line with the firm's key messaging, and creating relevant digital assets;
Contributing to the firm's strategy, including supporting various projects in involving the firm's centenary this year, and working on innovation projects to enable data-driven decision-making and task automation;
Assisting with the ongoing maintenance of our client relationship management (CRM) system (Dynamics 365);
Participating in client listening initiatives, including tender debriefs;
Preparing legal directory submissions, coordinating input and ensuring consistency, accuracy and a high-quality final product;
Managing client and industry research and reporting;
Assisting with management of the firm's strategic partnerships and sponsorships;
Assisting with internal communications, including the preparation of our monthly newsletter, and developing content for our internal social media channel; and
Managing merchandise including stocktakes and coordinating deliveries.
Experience
As a successful candidate, you will hold tertiary qualifications in a business or communications-related discipline.
You will bring some relevant experience across the business development, marketing or events space.

A background in a professional services environment with events experience will be highly regarded.
You will be both enthusiastic and proactive, with a keen interest in engaging with a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities.
You will demonstrate the following attributes:
Excellent attention to detail;
Strong writing, verbal communication and presentation skills;
Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workflow, follow procedures, and communicate progress effectively;
Prior experience working with stakeholders at varying levels, with a collaborative and service-orientated approach;
A hands-on, proactive and cooperative working style;
Flexibility to undertake a range of tasks while appropriately managing priorities and deadlines;
An interest in continuous learning and process improvement; and
Sound judgment and professionalism to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
Benefits
At McCullough Robertson, we encourage a balanced work environment.
Our teams enjoy having the opportunity to work in a supportive environment while having fun and achieving results.
We offer the following benefits for our employees:
Genuine opportunities to learn, develop your skills and take the next step in your career;

A strong focus on your health, wellbeing and connection, with subsidised gym membership and an active program of social and sporting activities;
Dedicated diversity committee with an innovative program focusing on all areas of diversity and inclusion;
