Accounts Payable Specialist | Trussville, AL
We're hiring anAccounts Payable Specialistto join our team inTrussville, Alabama.
We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional with strong accuracy and experience managing accounts payable, preferably within the construction industry.
What You'll Do
Monitor and upload invoices received by email, fax, and mail into accounting software
Accurately enter invoice information and distribute invoices to the appropriate departments
Verify and post approved invoices
Review subcontractor pay applications for contract compliance and process entries
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Communicate with vendors regarding invoice and payment status
What We're Looking For
5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in construction
Strong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy
Excellent computer and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and follow-through
