About the Role
As an ENT Surgeon at LRH, you will play a key role in delivering high‐quality specialist care to a diverse regional population.
You will work collaboratively with a supportive team of ENT specialists, junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals, while contributing to the ongoing development of ENT services across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing ENT serviceswithin your credentialed scope to LRH patients, ensuring best‐practice, patient‐centred care.
Peri‐operative managementof your patients, including pre‐ and post‐operative discussions.
Clinical leadershipthrough supervision, teaching, and mentorship of junior medical and nursing staff.
Service integrationwith key departments including Operating Theatres, Critical Care, Emergency, Medical/Surgical Units, and Allied Health.




Participation in audit and quality improvement, contributing to LRH's commitment to secure, high‐quality care.
Supporting researchand contributing to ongoing service development aligned with LRH's strategic plan.

Essential qualifications and experience:
MBBS or equivalent
Eligible for registrationwith the Medical Board of Australia
Fellowship with ASOHNS(or equivalent UK/Irish fellowship with eligibility for Australian recognition)
Demonstrated senior‐level ENT clinical experience
Strong communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues
Commitment to clinical governance, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary teamwork
