We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Installer / Site Welder to join our team at EJF Engineering Pty Ltd in Mount Druitt, NSW.
n
This is a full-time position, working in office to install and weld structural steel components for a variety of construction projects.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to accurately install structural steel components
n
Performing on-site welding to the highest safety and quality standards
n
Basic welding tickets are required for this position
n
Collaborating with the construction team to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
n
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work completed
n
Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process
n
Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
n
A Construction Induction Card (White Card) is required before starting this role
n

What We're Looking For
n
n




Formal qualifications in structural steel installation or welding, such as a Certificate III or equivalent
n
Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Structural Steel Installer or Site Welder, preferably in the construction industry
n
Strong understanding of technical drawings, welding techniques and quality standards
n
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
