Personal Assistant (PA)/Support Worker- PUR-*******

M is a happy and affectionate 10-year-old with a Learning Disability, Congenital neurological condition and Global Developmental delay. He is non-verbal and communicates using eye contact and hand gestures.
n
M enjoys listening to nursery rhymes on his tablet, sensory activities, music, trips to the park and visits to the leisure centre. He benefits from a structured routine and requires close supervision to keep safe while accessing the community.
n
Hours and rate of pay hours
n
96 hours @ £13 ph available to be used flexibly, including weekends and school holidays.
n
The working pattern will be agreed with family.
n
Location Huntingdon, PE29 area
n
DBS/Checks Confirmation of an Enhanced DBS check.
n
Right to Work and references will be needed.
n
What you would
n
Provide one-to-one support for M with his daily routine, personal care and community activities while promoting his wellbeing, independence and engagement.
n
Always maintain close supervision, particularly when out in the community,



as M may attempt to pick up objects and place them in his mouth.
n
