About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for approachable and caring Classroom Teacher's to join the supportive team at Holy Family CPS, Kelso.
The teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can encourage development and nurture the personal, spiritual and educational growth of each and every student.
Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning setting aligned with curriculum policies.
Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.
Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.
Engaging in ongoing career development to enhance student outcomes.
Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life.
Providing student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.

About You
Able to create a nurturing, inclusive and learner-centred environment that supports student growth and achievement
Able to work collaboratively with colleagues, families and the wider school community to support student learning and wellbeing
The desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation
Experience and proven record in effective classroom learning and teaching




Advanced understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices
A willingness to engage with the Professional Learning Communities program and the ability to work effectively as part of a Professional Learning Team
A demonstrated understanding of the Church's teachings and the Catholic teacher's role in the mission of the Church
