Operate and Assist Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of the country's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry.
We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel, and road base from a number of locations across Australia.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quarry Operator to join the team at our Kilmore East Quarry.
This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.
In your new role with us, you will:
Carry out day-to-day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment.
Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, front-end loaders, and dump trucks.
Perform general labouring activities, including cleaning, hosing, and shovelling.
This role is a great fit for you if you have:

A positive work ethic and the ability to work within Heidelberg Materials' values and philosophies.
Experience operating CAT ******* loaders (advantageous).
Articulated dump truck and rigid haul truck experience (preferred).
Rock breaker experience (favourable).
Heavy machinery tickets are not required; however, relevant operating experience is essential.
Experience in quarrying or mining.
The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
What we offer:
Hourly base rate from $*****, depending on experience, plus penalty rates and superannuation.
Monday to Friday, with average hours of 6:00am to 2:00pm.
Rostered half-day Saturday shifts every second week, depending on workload and production requirements.
