The Role
n
You'll work across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to detailed design and inspection. Day to day:
n
n
Design maritime structures:



quay walls, wharves, jetties, piles, sheet piling, seawalls, waterfronts, boat harbours, navigation aids
n
Structural analysis and design calcs, plus review of others' work
n
Berthing assessments and mooring analysis
n
Technical documentation: Basis of Design, design reports, technical notes, feasibility studies
n
Sketches for CAD/Revit drafting, and drawing reviews
n
Structural inspections and reporting
n
Managing small projects and coordinating design teams
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
Civil or Structural Engineering degree
n
Background in Maritime Structural or Coastal Engineering
n
Min. four years' Australian Maritime or Coastal experience
n
Experience preparing proposals and delivering projects
n
Strong written and verbal communication
n
Ability to work independently and coordinate across disciplines
n
Desire to achieve Chartered status (strongly preferred)
