About The Role

Accenture is looking for a Service Designer to join our growing Experience and Service Design practice. In this role, you'll help organisations reimagine and improve services by placing user needs at the centre of decision-making. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you'll design end-to-end experiences that deliver meaningful outcomes for users while meeting business and operational objectives.

Working across multidisciplinary teams, you'll design end-to-end experiences that deliver meaningful outcomes for users while meeting business and operational objectives.

You will collaborate with researchers, designers, product owners, architects, and client stakeholders to shape future-state services, identify opportunities for improvement, and create impactful solutions across digital and non-digital touchpoints. This is an opportunity to work on complex transformation programs that influence how customers, citizens, and employees interact with products and services every day.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end services that are user-centred, productive, and aligned to business goals.
n
Develop customer journeys, service blueprints, ecosystem maps, and future-state service models.
n
Facilitate discovery sessions, design workshops, and co-creation activities with users and stakeholders.
n
Translate research insights and user needs into actionable service concepts and recommendations.
n
Identify service pain points, risks, opportunities, and areas for innovation.
n
Collaborate with product, delivery, and technology teams to ensure service design is embedded throughout delivery.
n
Create clear service design artefacts that support implementation and decision-making.
n
Champion accessibility, usability, and inclusive design principles.
n
Measure service effectiveness and drive continuous improvement through data, feedback, and iteration.
n
Communicate complex concepts through compelling storytelling and visualisation techniques.

Qualifications
n
n
4-8 years of experience in Service Design, Human-Centred Design, Customer Experience Design, or a related discipline.
n
Demonstrated experience developing service blueprints, customer journey maps, and other service design artefacts.
n
Strong understanding of human-centred design methodologies, design thinking, and user research practices.
n
Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with diverse stakeholder groups.
n
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
n
Experience working within Agile or multidisciplinary delivery environments.
n
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
n
Proficiency with collaboration and design tools such as Miro, Figma, FigJam, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
n
Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex service and customer experience challenges.
n
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Factors, Psychology, Business, or a related field preferred.
n
Ability to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance is advantageous.
