Join Fiskil as a Senior Software Engineer. Lead end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure on the platform powering Australia's Open Data economy. Work with Go, TypeScript, React, Terraform, and Google Cloud. You're a senior engineer who enjoys building products, not just systems. You're comfortable moving across the stack and taking ownership of ambiguous problems.

You likely have:
n
n
5+ years of experience building production software
n
Strong hands-on experience with Go in production environments
n
Solid experience working with Google Cloud Platform
n
Experience building across the full stack, including frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure
n
Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React
n
A strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, and production-grade backend services
n
Experience writing and maintaining infrastructure as code, such as Terraform
n
A deep understanding of security best practices for enterprise software
n
Solid experience with authentication and authorization protocols,



including OAuth 2.0 and OIDC
n
Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and programming language concepts
n
Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply
n
A strong ownership mindset and comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment
n
Experience using modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar
n

Nice to have:

Experience with OpenID Connect, FAPI, or financial-grade API security profiles
n
Experience working on regulated data-sharing, Open Banking, payments, identity, fintech, or enterprise SaaS platforms
n
Experience with serverless or event-driven architectures
n
Experience with API gateways, secrets management, encryption, key management, and secure cloud architecture
n
Experience building developer platforms, customer-facing APIs, or technical onboarding flows
