The Opportunity!
n
You'll join an established Construction, Projects & Infrastructure team and work closely with experienced Partners on significant Queensland and national matters.
n
Your work will include:
n
n
High-value construction and engineering disputes
n
Delay, disruption, defects and variation claims
n
Security of Payment matters and adjudications
n
Construction contract interpretation and disputes
n
Dispute avoidance and strategic advisory work
n
Acting for principals, contractors, developers, subcontractors and insurers
n
n
You'll have genuine client exposure, responsibility for your matters and the opportunity to work on complex disputes that require strong technical and commercial thinking.
n

What We're Looking For You'll ideally have:
n
n
5+ years PAE in construction disputes or construction litigation
n
Strong back-end construction experience
n
Solid knowledge of construction contracts and dispute resolution processes
n
Excellent drafting and written communication skills
n
Confidence dealing directly with clients
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
n
A collaborative and positive approach
