Our client Volcanos is looking for an experienced manager to run the day to day operations. The successful operator will be undertaking the following duties and tasks:

Tasks & Duties

Analyse sales performance, customer preferences and trading patterns to determine the appropriate range of products, maintain suitable stock levels and establish consistent customer service standards.
n
Manage purchasing requirements and supplier relationships, including negotiating prices and supply arrangements, while contributing to pricing decisions and marketing strategies to support profitability.
n
Develop and coordinate promotional campaigns, special offers and advertising activities across in-store and digital channels to increase customer engagement, sales and awareness of the business.
n
Oversee the sale and delivery of products and services to customers, ensure customers are appropriately assisted with their enquiries and options,



and maintain a consistently high standard of customer service.
n
Maintain and review accurate inventory, purchasing and sales records, oversee regular stocktakes, monitor point-of-sale transactions and investigate stock or financial discrepancies where required.
n
Prepare and monitor operational budgets, track sales revenue and business expenditure, manage operating costs and report on financial performance to senior management.
n
Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, selection, induction, training and rostering, allocate duties and supervise employee performance to ensure efficient operations and appropriate service standards.
n
Ensure the establishment operates in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements by implementing appropriate procedures, monitoring staff compliance and addressing identified workplace risks and hazards.

Requirements

A diploma and at least one year of work experience or
n
3 years of work experience instead of a qualification
n
Or combination of work experience and qualification
