Your Role
n
Seeking a Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Matthew Talbot Clinic, supporting the delivery of high-quality, accessible healthcare to people experiencing complex health and social needs.
n
In this newly created leadership role you will oversee practice operations, lead and develop a dedicated team, coordinate external GPs and allied health practitioners, and ensure the clinic operates safely, effectively and in line with clinical governance and accreditation requirements.

Your Responsibility
n
n
Lead the day-to-day operations and service delivery of the clinic in collaboration with the Clinical Practice Lead.
n
Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, performance and development of employees and external practitioners.
n
Build robust relationships with GPs, allied health professionals, community services and other key stakeholders.
n
Oversee rosters, leave, payroll, assets, equipment, consumables and financial performance.
n
Drive continuous improvement, quality, risk management and clinical governance across the service.
n
Lead accreditation preparation and ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation and organisational policies.
n
Promote a positive, inclusive and accountable team culture focused on staff wellbeing and excellent patient outcomes.
n
Ensure strong safeguarding, WHS, confidentiality and duty of care practices.
n
Use data and insights to support service planning, evaluation and ongoing improvement.
n
Develop partnerships with external services to support continuity of care and collaborative care planning.
n

About You
n
n
Previous experience in a management or senior practice administration role.
n
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
n
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
n
An understanding of medical terminology and healthcare stakeholders.
n
Experience with quality improvement, compliance, risk management and/or accreditation.
n
Strong organisational and financial management skills.
n
Sound knowledge of WHS requirements and a commitment to safeguarding.
n
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and data collection systems.
n
Knowledge of community resources, particularly health, mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, legal, employment and support services.
n
A current NSW Driver Licence.
