Join Komatsu's Reman team in Welshpool and help rebuild critical original manufacturer standards. You'll work hands-on with hydraulic cylinders, spindles, wheel motors and powertrain assemblies, restoring components for some of the toughest mining and construction equipment in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Ensuring all work on equipment and equipment components as instructed and is completed to a high standard.
n
Being responsible for providing and maintaining personal tooling relevant to the trade.
n
Taking responsibility for workshop tooling and advising the leading hand or supervisor of any workshop tooling that is unsafe.
n
Undertaking progressive training and achieve the level of competency standards (where applicable).
n
Being always neat and tidy in appearance and work practices.
n
Complying with the Komatsu Australia Quality Management System.
n
Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of product nonconformity, identify and record any product quality problems, initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
n
Verifying the implementation of solutions, control further proceeding delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
n
Identify and report any product quality problems.
n
Assisting in the supervision and conduct trade related work on plant equipment and components as instructed in accordance with manufacturers' standards within the specified time frame.

Working Hours:

5 days on 2 days off, 38 hours per week

Potential Annual Earnings:
n
$110,000
n
What We Are Looking For:
n
n
Full "C" Class Drivers Licence
n
Hold relevant High-Risk Licenses (Dogging).
n
Ability to demonstrate a basic level of computer literacy
n
Ability to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills
n
Ability to conduct safe manual handling techniques.
n
Ability to demonstrate adherence to risk assessment process and hazard identification.
n
Ability to complete full pre-employment medical as well as random drug & alcohol testing
n
n
Qualifications:
n
n
Trades Assistant with experience working on a range of equipment
n
High Risk Licenses (Forklift) highly regarded
n
n
