Forrestania Resources Ltd (ASX: FRS) is a Western Australian rapidly growing gold exploration and development company building a portfolio of gold projects across the Forrestania, Southern Cross and Eastern Goldfields regions.
FRS portfolio comprises a combined gold Mineral Resource of approximately 1,007,800 ounces, with access to processing infrastructure under construction at Lake Johnston. The Company recently achieved a first ore milestone at its British Hill deposit.
Led by a refreshed and experienced board, FRS is strategically expanding its footprint across the Southern Cross, Eastern Goldfields and Forrestania regions through disciplined exploration, selective acquisitions and a commitment to unlocking the broader potential of these highly prospective belts. FRS is advancing towards gold production, initially via the wholly-owned Lake Johnston processing facility which was acquired by the Company in late CY ****. In the Southern Cross district, the Company is advancing a strategy to define significant gold resources that can support long-term development opportunities. FRS is dedicated to creating shareholder value through systematic exploration, strong technical execution and a focused approach to growing its gold asset base across Western Australia.
Forrestania Resources is establishing the Lake Johnston gold hub and is seeking a motivated and experienced
Safety & Training Advisor
to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on HSET support to site teams, ensuring systems are properly implemented and maintained
Maintain compliance with applicable WHS legislation, client requirements, and company standards
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of HSE systems and project requirements
Lead toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and safety briefings
Conduct HSE training, site inductions,
and VOC (verification of competency) assessments
Maintain and review HSE documentation, including procedures, risk assessments, and SWMS
Drive HSE initiatives and coordinate safety campaigns
Track, compile, and report on HSE performance data
Support incident investigations and the management of corrective actions
Develop, maintain and deliver training systems, including VOCs for site staff
Provide alternate leadership to the site HSET team
Liaise with site medics and IM regarding site injuries and management
What you'll bring:
Minimum 5 years' experience in HSE & Training
5+ years' experience within mining, construction, maintenance, or civil environments
Relevant qualification in Work Health & Safety(Cert IV is min, diploma or above desirable)
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
Strong knowledge of HSE systems, compliance requirements, and VOC processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Full Australian working rights
LGIRS Statutory Supervisor accreditation (desirable)
Prepared to support other HSET related functions including hygiene, ERT and medical
