Job Description
About the role
n
You'll provide evidence-based, person-centred speech pathology services to NDIS participants and other community clients across the lifespan, with a strong focus on functional communication, social participation, and quality of life. You'll work closely with participants, families, support workers, and other allied health professionals to deliver practical, goal-focused interventions in homes, clinics, schools, and community settings.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments.
n
Develop and implement individualised therapy plans aligned with participant goals and NDIS plans.
n
Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, support workers, and other clinicians.
n
Provide training, coaching, and practical strategies to build capacity in the participant's support network.
n
Complete explicit, timely progress notes, reports, and NDIS documentation.
n
Adhere to professional, ethical, and organisational standards and policies.
n
Provide therapy in clinic, home, school, telehealth, and community environments.
n
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and trauma-informed service culture.
n

About you
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
n
Current membership or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
n
Current AHPRA registration is required at the time of commencement.
n
Experience or strong interest disability, or community-based practice.
n
New graduates are welcome to apply for this position.
