n
An excellent opportunity has become available for a proactive, solutions-focused HSE Advisor to join our Queensland HSE team based in Gracemere.
n
As part of our national HSE business partnering team, you'll play a pivotal role in coaching leaders, driving continuous improvement, and embedding effective risk management practices across our operational environment. This position is well-suited to someone who thrives in a hands-on role, enjoys building capability, and is passionate about delivering meaningful safety outcomes.

What You'll Do
n
n
Partner with and coach operational leaders to strengthen HSE capability and safety leadership.
n
Facilitate risk assessments and monitor the effectiveness of critical controls.
n
Support the delivery of Pacific National's key HSE strategic initiatives.
n
Build workforce capability in hazard identification and risk management.
n
Contribute to audits and compliance assurance activities.
n
Lead and facilitate incident investigations in line with PN's investigation framework.
n




Deliver training on PN's enterprise management system and HSE applications.
n
Travel to regional Queensland sites as required.
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety, Occupational Risk, Engineering or a related discipline.
n
Proven experience delivering effective HSE outcomes across complex, multi-site operations.
n
Solid working knowledge of safety and environmental requirements within rail haulage, logistics or mining (ideally 5+ years).
n
Demonstrated capability in hazard and risk control implementation.
n
Experience coaching leaders and facilitating incident investigations.
n
Exposure to Major Hazard Facilities or dangerous goods (highly regarded).
n
