About the role:

Act for medical defense organizations and insured health practitioners across contentious and advisory matters.
n
Defend litigated claims involving allegations of clinical negligence.
n
Assist and advise health practitioners in regulatory proceedings before boards and tribunals.
n
Assist with coronial statements and advice on billing disputes.
n
Manage claim files for medical defense organizations and insurer clients.
n

The ideal candidate:
n
n
1+ years' post-admission experience in health law as a Solicitor or Associate.
n
Genuine interest in developing a specialization in health law and medical negligence.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with clients and colleagues.
n
Well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.
n
Proactive and accountable, with the confidence to manage matters effectively and keep the supervising Partner updated on progress.
