The Registered Nurse (Acute Care Team) is a Registered Nurse practising autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, primarily in the Woorabinda Hospital providing direct nursing care in emergency, general-inpatient and outpatient care and assists the residential care clients and is of predominately Indigenous, rural/remote health care.

About the role:
n
n
Provide diverse clinical care across emergency, inpatient,
outpatient and residential aged care at Woorabinda Hospital.
n
Lead and coordinate nursing staff, including ENs and AINs, with opportunities to take on Shift Coordinator responsibilities.
n
Use strong clinical judgement and leadership to assess, plan and evaluate patient care, manage complex situations and provide on-call clinical support.
n
Grow your rural and remote nursing expertise through professional development, education, quality improvement and opportunities to build confidence across a broad clinical scope.

About you:
n
n
Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration and annual practising certificate are mandatory.
n
You bring clinical knowledge and adaptable skills suited for rural and remote nursing practice within an Indigenous community.
n
Commitment to professional growth, including developing your own skills, supporting others and taking responsibility for a clinical portfolio.
n
Outstanding communication and teamwork, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, staff and the wider healthcare team, while contributing to quality activities and audits.
n

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $128,480 p.a. is comprised of:
n
n
An hourly rate between $***** – $***** p.h.
n
An hourly rate between $***** – $***** p.h. (Including 25% casual loading)
n
75% employer superannuation contribution

5% leave loading
