About the Prospect Drake International is seeking an experienced Director New Business Development to grow our HR Advisory People Solutions practice across Australia and New Zealand.
This is a senior, revenue-generating role for a consultative sales skilled with deep HR expertise and an established network of C-suite relationships.
Operating as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador, you will identify and develop new client opportunities while expanding revenue within existing accounts - always leading with Drake's integrated value proposition across HR Advisory, Workforce Solutions, Wellbeing, and Assessment services.
What Will You Do?
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve annual revenue targets across HR Advisory People Solutions Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects across target industries Drive full-cycle sales from prospecting and needs assessment through proposal, negotiation, and close Engage senior leaders - CEOs, CHROs, COOs, CFOs - to understand their people and organisational challenges, translate needs into tailored solutions, and deliver persuasive executive-level presentations Ensure seamless handoff to delivery and advisory teams to support a high-quality client experience.
Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address service issues to protect and grow accounts.
Expand revenue within existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell of complementary Drake service lines Represent Drake at industry events, HR associations, and professional networks Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast records and report regularly to leadership Who Are We Looking For?
Minimum 8 years of business development or consultative sales experience in HR consulting, skilled services, or an advisory environment Demonstrated expertise across multiple HR domains, including HR strategy, talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, employee relations, organisational design, or change management Proven track record engaging and selling to C-level executives in small to mid-sized organisations Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills An established network of HR and business leaders in the ANZ region is a strong asset Self-directed and effective in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion At Drake, we are committed to fostering diversity, inclusion, and equity.
